We are Bears and Golden Eagles. We are students who balance school with work and family and still find time to give to others. We are proud of our history, and excited by our ambitious future. We understand that vibrant campus life is essential to student success. True to our founding motto, SJNY students strive to be leaders, to be partners with our communities and to serve.
For generations, St. Joe’s students have earned their degrees while balancing employment, commuting time and obligations to their families and friends. Their time on campus is precious – and we will meet it with new resources for enhanced programming, including clubs and organizations, leadership development, athletics and investing in tomorrow’s ambassadors for the value of our University in the world. This also means creating opportunities for funded fellowships to allow every student to make their time on campus a priority and a financial reality.
We remain a community rooted in shared faith. Enhanced support for our beautiful chapels, for the celebration of religious traditions and for service and connection through Campus Ministry programs, will ensure that the strength of the Sisters of St. Joseph endures as a defining element of SJNY in perpetuity.
