This award celebrates an extraordinary healthcare provider on the front lines of patient care and interaction. These nominees will exemplify dedication, mission, skill, expertise, and talent. This professional inspires and motivates their colleagues and peers, all while consistently making each patient their priority. Special consideration may be given to nominees who have created new approaches or practices and helped to address or solve chronic and broader challenges in medicine. Must be an SJNY alumna/us. Must be currently employed as a healthcare provider who has daily or regular interaction with patients, or newly retired (one year out). Should have more than 3 years of service in their healthcare field. Recipient is expected to be present at the event to receive an award.

This award celebrates new healthcare workers who have been in their field for less than three full years. They will be emerging leaders in medicine who are making a striking impact in the early stages of their career; through effective leadership, innovation in the workplace, collaborative efforts and a creative approach that puts the patient first while striving to address larger challenges. Please note, there may be multiple award winners for this category. Must be an SJNY alumna/us. Must be currently employed as a healthcare provider, administrator or allied personnel and have been working for less than 3 full years.
