Brennin Kroog ’09, a Managing Director at Lazard Frères & Co., advises financial institutions and fintech companies globally on mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets transactions. He also serves as Chairman of Lazard’s Global Workplace & Culture Committee. A 2009 St. Joseph’s University, New York (SJNY) graduate with a B.S. in Finance and Economics and an M.B.A. from Yale University, Brennin serves on SJNY’s Board of Trustees and lives in Roslyn, New York, with his wife, Melissa ’09, and their two children. Brennin and Melissa have demonstrated remarkable dedication to supporting student veterans at SJNY. Their generous contribution in 2023 led to the establishment of the Kroog Center for Veterans, located in the new Student Center on the Long Island Campus. The lounge stands as a lasting testament to the Kroogs’ commitment to honoring those who have served while helping them succeed in their academic journey.
